Ole Hansvold
Ole was COO and CTO in Conax AS from co-founding it in 1994 until 2006.
Conax is one of the leading vendors of pay-TV systems for DVB (fixed-TV)
with more than 100 customers in around 60 countries. After university,
Ole started as research scientist at Telenor R&D labs (1988 - 1992)
working with satellite-TV security. Ole was a member of the team that in
1992 started what is now Canal Digital, the largest TV-distribution
operation in North Europe serving 3 million households.
Brede I. Breisjøberg
Brede started his career in 1995 at Conax. He was a part of the team who developed the
company into a leading Conditional Access player. His latest position in Conax was product
manager (2004 - 2006), responsible for product roadmap and management for all Conax
products. He also had an assignment in Singapore (2003 - 2004), responsible for technical
pre-sales, recruitment and training. From 2000 to 2003 he worked as Product manager for
conditional access system for IP television and streaming. Prior that, he had various
positions in Conax within technology development working with design and implementation of
large scale CAS/DRM systems, smart cards, PKI and cryptographic protocols.
Frode Stokke
Frode has been working with design and implementation of
server side systems and security for more than 10 years. He has
experience with system architecture and design of server side systems,
CAS/DRM, crypto and PKI, payment processing and smart cards. He comes
from a role as Senior System Engineer in Thales, where he has been
working with system design of secure messaging systems and smart card
crypto modules. From 1998 to 2003 he held a position as Chief Development
Engineer in Conax, and lead the design and implementation of the back-end
system for secure return channel order & payment processing for
pay-TV.
Roy Brokvam
Roy is an experienced software developer, having designed and programmed
database and server-side software systems since 1993. Roy was member of the
team that started Canal Digital from 1992 - 1996, before moving to Conax as
Chief Database Developer. He joined Capgemini as a Senior Consultant in
2001, where he was a key software developer on several successful
large-scale projects. Since its start-up in 2002, he was a member of
Capgemini Norway's core team for Oracle technology.
Bjørn A. Taranger
Bjørn was Chief Development Engineer in Conax from 2003 until 2006. Bjørn
joined Conax in 2001 and has been working with pay-TV systems and smart card technology
since. Bjørn's prior experience is from Det Norske Veritas, where he worked from
1994 until 2001 in various positions, from consultancy to R&D, and software development.
