Ole Hansvold - Descrambled Editor

Ole Hansvold started working with CAS at Telenor R&D in 1988 where he led one of the world’s first pay-TVsmart card developments.  This first Conax CAS was used when launching the Canal Digital DTH operation in 1992.

In the mid-‘90s, Ole contributed to the DVB specifications:  CAS framework, CSA, Common Interface.  Besides being CTO, Ole also led Conax’ world expansion as COO.  Ole left Conax to found Abel in 2006.  Abel was the first to do microSD cards for pay-TV.
