Descrambled discusses CAS, DRM, pay-TV – themes proven to be mysterious and inaccessible to many.  Descrambled is a mix of comments, technology articles and Abel news. Not all will be neutral.

Descrambled “editor” is Ole Hansvold who has experience in CAS since the very early days. Ole led the development of one of the world’s first pay-TV smart cards [1990], member of a team launching DTH in Scandinavia as early as 1992, contributed to the DVB specifications [CAS, CSA, CI], co-founder, CTO and COO of Conax, led Conax’ world expansion, founded Abel in 2006.
