Abel microSD card

Abel Quintic is offered with smart cards, SIMs and microSD cards. Abel's microSD card requires special attention being the first of its kind and representing a very powerful combination of a security chip and a large flash memory in the same device.

When used for mobile pay-TV, the Abel microSD card goes into the 'second' slot of the mobile handset. The issuer of the Abel microSD card can thereby establish a direct relation with the mobile subscriber.

Pay-TV distributors can issue Abel microSD cards and offer DVB-H pay-TV services independently of the local providers of mobile voice and data services. Similarily, mobile operators with exclusive content can issue Abel microSD card for the offering of DVB-H to the subscribers of other mobile operators.

Abel microSD card offers the opportunity to not only to process rights, but also to store content or software on the same device. The Abel microSD thus provides memory support for time-shift, recording and for e.g. terminal software.
